PSPHP co-hosts dinner with medical societies
On 18 June 2019 in Pan Pacific Manila, PSPHP and the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) hosted a dinner meeting among medical societies and esteemed institutions to discuss the service level allocation in light of the implementation of the Universal Health Care Act. Attendees came from all over the Philippines, with Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao represented. Five presidents of medical societies were also present, namely: Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine, Philippine College of Emergency Medicine, Philippine College of Physicians, Philippine Academy of Family Physicians, and the Philippine Society of Public Health Physicians. Other societies and organizations which were present are as follows: Philippine Society of Cardiovascular Catheterization, Philippine College of Surgeons, Philippine Society of Anesthesiologists, Philippine Rheumatology Association, Philippine Society of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Healthcare Policy and Practice Management, Alliance for Improving Health Outcomes, Department of Health, and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation.
