On this day two years ago (March 8, 2018), the Philippine Society of Public Health Physicians became officially SEC-registered. Thus, to commemorate, we held a small celebratory dinner on March 5, 2020 in Happy Garden Cafe, Makati City, to reminisce the first two happy years of PSPHP.

In a short span, our community grew and has started initiatives towards achieving collective representation, development of profession and a nurturing community of practice for Filipino public health physicians. We would like to extend our gratitude to all those who have been involved in one way or another—for the hard work and support to our young society. In the next few years, we hope to continue our mission to advance the science and practice of public health towards achieving better health for Filipinos.

In addition, Happy International Women’s Day! Cheers to the women of public health who continuously strive to improve the lives of others!
