New Delhi, India – March 12, 2025 – The Philippine Society of Public Health Physicians (PSPHP), represented by its president, Dr. Michael Caampued, participated in the Annual Conclave of the Global Learning Collaborative for Health Systems Resilience (GLC4HSR), hosted by ACCESS Health International, at the Indian National Science Academy in New Delhi on March 11-12, 2025.

Dr. Caampued participated in discussions on "Priority Setting & Driving Efficiency in Health Financing for Resilience." His contributions focused on strategies to optimize resource allocation and enhance the sustainability of health systems, particularly in the face of global challenges.

The conclave addressed pressing issues such as climate change, gender equity, conflicts and mass displacement, and digital transformation, drawing a diverse group of international experts. Notably, attendees included representatives from the WHO Headquarters, the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO EMRO) and the Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN)

PSPHP’s engagement in these high-level discussions has sparked considerable interest from the GLC4HSR and its members. The GLC4HSR expressed a strong interest in continuing dialogue with PSPHP, recognizing the organization's expertise and valuable perspectives. This interest indicates a potential future of collaborative work and knowledge exchange between the PSPHP, and other global health organizations.

The event itself was designed to translate learnings into actionable strategies, and policy frameworks, with the goal of building resilient health systems globally. This participation marks a significant step for PSPHP in expanding its international presence and contributing to global efforts in strengthening health systems resilience.
