Strategic Plan of Action

  1. Establish with DOH HHRDB the professional accreditation for the public health track in medicine building upon the prior research defining the practice and competencies.
  2. Partner with academic institutions for multi-pronged objectives in HRH production, medicine curriculum re-orientation, specialty development, and research generation.
  3. Create more structured inroads in the form of formal agreements, membership or officer-ship within highly relevant organizations including the PMA, PAFP, AMHOP, PHOAP, AMSA, PPHA, and WFPHA.
  4. Diversification of fund generating mechanisms including building the business model as an accrediting institution, public health training institution, technical assistance provider for both government and non-government organizations, and monetization of reproducible technical products.
  5. Engender stronger bonds among members (and collaborators) through purposively structured engagement activities and accessible regional chapters across the whole country.
  6. Maximize the current interest of the SOH/ DOH-OSEC in PSPHP as a third-party technical assistance provider or extended scientific arm of the OSEC. Utilize its potential to establish PSPHP relations with DOH and generate funds for the Secretariat and the Technical and Policy Committee.
